1. Head towards your computer or laptop and connect it with your Netgear Orbi WiFi network.
2. Load up an internet browser on your connected device.
3. Type orbilogin com into the browser's address bar.
4. Enter the login details that you created during Netgear Orbi setup.
5. Select the “Advanced” option.
6. Click on “Administration”.
7. Now, choose the “Firmware Update” option.

2. Once you have downloaded the latest firmware file successfully, click on the “Manual Update” button.
3. Afterward, the “Firmware Update” page will display.
4. Now, click on the checkbox next to the model name of your Orbi satellite.
5. Once done, click on the “Update” button.

6. If the web browser asks you for the admin name password, enter the same network key (password) you entered for your Orbi router.
7. Now, click on the “BROWSE” tab.
8. Then, on your desktop find and select the file that ends in .img or .chk.
9. Click on the “UPLOAD” button and upload the latest firmware file. This process can take a few minutes to complete the firmware update process.
10. Once your Orbi satellite finishes updating the firmware update process, click on “Status” and ensure that the firmware version onto the “Status” page matches with the firmware version on the Netgear Orbi login page.
